Sixty-one years ago, 17-year-old Erle Korshak was one of the triumvirate that organized Chicon I.  He later co-founded Shasta Press, a leading SF publisher until an unlucky venture outside the field drained its capital.  He then went to law school and still is in active practice in Nevada.  At Millennium Philcon he poses with the chairman of the most recent Chicon.
